Experiment register

No hidden test. No automatic winner.

A public experiment requires an owner, hypothesis, primary metric, guardrails, consent, start date and expiry. Price, safety, support and academic-outcome experiments are prohibited by this public contract.

Current state

There are no registry-approved active experiments.

This is not a claim that experimentation will never occur. It is the exact public register state now.

Activation gate

Seven records before exposure.

Assignment cannot begin from code alone. The reviewed registry record must exist first and must expire or be withdrawn deliberately.

Required

Owner and hypothesis

Name the accountable owner and the falsifiable question before implementation.

Required

Metric and guardrails

Primary measurement cannot override safety, accessibility, support, source or commercial guardrails.

Required

Consent and expiry

Exposure requires an explicit choice and a bounded active period. Completion does not auto-publish a winner.

Lifecycle

Every state is explicit.

Paused, completed and withdrawn states remain distinct so a stopped test cannot silently restart.
