It offers you a prompt on something you already have evidence of knowing. You explain it in your own words, typed or out loud, in the language you actually think in. The reader judges the meaning, not the vocabulary, and hands back the Tracing Sheet: what you conveyed, what you did not, and where a real misconception sits, named in plain words with your own sentence quoted beside it. If the reader could not follow you it asks one narrow question. If our vocabulary does not cover your topic it says so.
