The first time a student signs up, before they meet a plan or a question, they are offered a choice of who coaches them. Not a settings page buried three taps deep: an offer, up front. They pick a preset (a warm English coach, a blunt English coach, a Hindi or Hinglish companion) or, at the paid depth, they name their own and dial the tone. They hear or read a live re-type of a sample line in the voice they just picked, so the choice is felt and not guessed.
